Sell your boat for just $1

Whatever that stuff is, it retains and is slowly weeping moisture.

In Response To: What is that aged, yellow stuff, inside tank, @ rub rail? (Gary, Santana 2023A, Milwaukee)

Taking to many days to dry out. Nice and dry looking, only to find the next day that some moisture had 'weeped' out. Nothing major, just extending an inch or so below this OEM sealer. Closed a de-humidifier in the boat last night, hoping this will remove all moisture within a couple of days, rather than... weeks?

Also, I removed all the wood comprising the internal compression post. There's a solid wood, looking brand new, sealed in epoxy below the compression 'plate' that can be readily seen. I hadn't realized it was there until I removed the plate. They were not attached in any way other than epoxy, with a 'wrap-around' of glass.
