Do you have a heat gun to help? Of course you'll need to keep from burning the sealer but? Do you think the putty/sealer is holding the moisture or is the end grain of the wood "wet". When we needed to dry the moisture out of the mat on my son's boat we used clamp type reflector lamps. They are dirt cheep and with a 75 watt bulb in 6 or 8 of them with a fan to circulate the hot air it should dry up in a day or so. Since the backside of the wood isn't sealed if you could get the side your working on dry the remaining moisture could wick out the back side. Bob
