The last pic, showing the edge out inside the cabin? Those pieces of edge-out ARE epoxied in place. The screws in them are holding them softly in place so as to not squeeze out all of the resin. I have since removed these screws and replaced, while counter-sinking the heads. The edge-out material is being epoxyied as it's put in place, except for the inboard edge, and that surface area which the sole will be resting on once I drop her in place. With the slight curve I have in the original sole... I am thinking that I will epoxy coat 100% of each edgeout. Scuff, that edge, then drop her in place. Otherwise, the curve may force all the epoxy out as I screw it down, even softly.
Yes, my plan at this point is to lay glass from about 4" BELOW the port/stbd seams (i.e. on the hull), up into the seam, then out across the bottom of the sole, and under these edge-out pieces.
Why? Let me know if you (or anyone else) has some suggestions. I believe you still have my number?
