Tom mentioned he was going to fly his from the top, I was thinking of 6" above the forestay point to keep the load closer to the lowers. At less than 23' on the luff I figured I'd need to use a strap for the tack and fly it from the forestay 4' off the deck, that could be adjusted for point of sail and wind conditions. If I use a sock that would lower the head another two feet or so, no? Bob
