After a months wait while other projects toke priority,I finaily raised the mast of my new to me s21 in the driveway. It was a little tense and a little harded than anticipated. Had the side stays reversed front to back so they had to be switched while holding mast uprigh. At the same time forstay was about an inch short. Lucky we had many hands around.
So the questions not shure why the forstay was short as you would have thouht the P O would have backed it off before they lowerd the mast? How much effort should be requierd on the forstay to get the pin in.
Another question is how do the turnbuckles need to be threaded into the ajuster sleeve?
Latter in the evening while sitting on the deck addmiring the boat with the mast up, a robin landed atop the weathervane, atop the mast and sang to us for a while I hope it was a good omen.
