This larger Asymm I have is even larger than that. Admittedly not having measured it lately, and I don't recall the exact dimensions, but I believe the luff is 'about' 29'. Gotta remember, any size will 'work' if it'll fit the boat! This one, I suspect, is solid luff from masthead down to just below the rails. Pure guess on my part, having never used it. Most likely better suited for the 30' mast, as I'm not yet sure how much 'visibilty' area I will have under the foot once it's flying. Cool thing about it is, in light air, I definately won't mind having the extra square footage sail area. Haven't done the math (probably never will), but it's got to give me somewhere close to, or just over, another square 80 (???) feet than the 'smaller' Asymm I have.
Hah! Dropping 'Sushi Bucket' into the drink this Saturday! Hope she appreciates the new sole work!
