We got pounded in SE Wisconsin!

Report: outside forum guidelines

Was so thrilled to be launching 'Sushi Bucket' Saturday afternoon (completed sole), I didn't pay attention to the weather. Loaded up, stopped and put the beer on ice, headed towards the lake. Halway there, turned the radio on to here the tornado alarms. Fled for home. What a mess, basement flooded, etc. Tried to launch her Sunday afternoon. The inner harbor looked like a trade center collapsed into it. Debris and floatsum everywhere. Trees, railroad ties, you name it. The ramps were under water, pallets, trees, etc, wedged on top of them. Amazingly, in a 25 minute period that I watched, the inner harbor water level dropped two feet, as all the run off slowly found it's way out of the three gaps into Lake Michigan proper.

Boy, I can really pick a weekend to launch, can't I? Anyway, hope everyone else in the midwest fared better than I did.
