Love my S21, but hate getting wet during the load / unload process. Eventually developed a system to get her into the water and stay dry myself, but it wasn't until today that I was able to get her back onto the trailer without wading knee deep in the cold H2O while slip sliding on the algae.
I made a 2x6 guide to get the keel onto the center of the trailer. Now I can back the trailer deeper into the water, pull the boat close to the the trailer wench, hook onto the boat by reaching over the bow, and drive up the ramp. The boat is a little too far back on the trailer, but since I put a 2" x 4' piece of teflon into the channel that supports the keel, it's an easy task to winch the boat into the proper spot on the trailer.
Pretty cool staying dry. I am just SO pleased with myself. Almost pulled a muscle patting myself on the back.
