Since you mention winds in the 30s I assume you mean something about how much the boat heels in strong(er) winds.

I have only owned my boat a few months and not had it out in 30+ knot winds. I have sailed it in 20 knot winds and that calls for a small jib & a reefed main. The boat is somewhat tender if you're used to a keelboat, marvelously stable if you're used to a centerboard daysailer.

The mainsail I have is single-reef, and the area we sail (South Eastern US) generally has winds of 15 knots or less. If I lived in an area where the winds were much stronger, on average, I'd get a mainsail with double reef points and not worry.
