Keel Rust

Report: outside forum guidelines

In Response To: S21 Update (Bill Lempe/S21 Pegasus)

The photo's are on my daughter's camera. It is easy to describe though. Lots of Rust. Anyone with a S21 that has not done the keel job would be well advised to do so soon. Everything looked fine on the outside, on the inside it is a different matter. The guides that keep the cable on track as it rotates are gone. I am going to have the work done at the school. My time is greatly limited right now. 14+ hours on Tue/Thur. 10+ the rest of the week. This past weekend it rained most of the time. So I took a much needed break. What little I did do was the bottom paint prep work.

The trailor bunks fell off after I lifted the boat. So, more work. More later...
