There's not many out there. Either moored or trailer sailed it will need to be done. If you get a small pen light and crawl under the boat and look in the ballast drain fill hole towards the rear you'll be able to see the mast support. It's made up of 2X4's and will be a good indicator of the rest of the tanks condition. There is so little air moment and the wood gets so wet that even after sitting all winter when I cut my floor open the wood was still wet as well as some standing water on the bottom of the hull. Even if the wood and most of it's coating is in good shape the water migrates throughout the wood through small cracks and missing coating then can't get back out because the wood is still for the most part still coated. I really like my boat and so do the others here. I hope you find it to your liking and it fits your needs. Bob
