I hope you folks still look at this thread now and then. I found it because I saw a '76 Seafarer 22 sittling along the road near where I live with a for sale sign on it. I can't find much on the Web about Seafarer 22s, but what I have found so far looks really good. Could any of you tell me anything I should look for in particular with this model (weak chain plates, stress points, etc.) that could be trouble? This one has the deeper keel and about a 7-horse outboard. The hull needs paint, but a quick rub along its flanks showed no indication of significant repairs. It is a fresh water boat. Thanks, Eric
