Leaky Kestrel. Any ideas?

Report: outside forum guidelines

I finally got my 23-ft Kestrel in the water last weekend. She sails like a dream, but seems to be leaking some. I'm guessing 1/2 pint per hour or so at most. After a nauseating below decks search this evening, I'm putting my money on the flange where the centerboard pennant tube attaches to the board trunk as the source.

The only other active thru-hull is for the scuppers. I managed to squeeze way aft in the starboard quarterberth, from which I could blindly feel around the scupper tube bases (there's a sure cure for arachnophobia, BTW), and they were dry.

Does anybody have any experience running down leaks like this? Am I missing something obvious?
