buying and 1975 Seafarer 22 (hull 66)

Report: outside forum guidelines

Dear Forum,

My 12 year old son is buying a 1975 Seafarer 22 (hull 66).

What are the weak potential problem areas/things to look for on the rigging & hull. My son and I are possible doing a very long sail home from the seller next spring. (Long Island sound NY to Maine).

Thank you in advance for any help & suggestions.
