Lord you have a pretty boat Charlie. I am supposed to be in Huston for a meeting around the first of the year. Sure would like a tour of your boat. How far are you from Houston?
Oh yes Adam, what do you think the cause of your leak is. I take it it is above the water line. I am beginning to believe that mine is not the keel bolts . I am going through the process of protecting the deck and cockpit from all rain and see of that stops the drip out of the bottom of the keel. I found an access plate that covered up a direct path to the lead in the keel. It is filled with detritus from over the years. Also, the keel and hull took a significant hit bad enough that a hole bigger than a basketball was made under the port cockpit seat and the bottom of the keel had to be patched. Both patches were simply made and need work. I have to put rove mat back in the area under the seat (they faired the hull very well, but the keel is another story. the hole was above and below the water line. I figure that it was dropped because their is no evidence of water damage to the teak interior.
So, your thoughts on your leak, Adam.
