scraped (I already had the port side done) and the companionway frames for the drop boards refinished.
Took us an hour to get ready to lower the mast, took 5 minutes from when we turned the back stay loose to actually DO it. Used a Macgregor mast raiser aith it's clutched winch- piece of cake
Something that concerns me greatly- here and there I found cotter pins that were supposed to be stainless, that came apart into three and four pieces from pure corrosion. Pure junk. Now I have to do a search for REAL marine stainless cotter pins. Some of these were aloft too- at the mast head.
