However, when I was ordering lifelines and rigging for customers, I would often order from Johnson Marine in Hartford, Connecticut. Nice company, and the items always come neatly bagged, and then wrapped in the Hartford Courant I believe they also make/supply split pins, and I would think they would be of good quality. A place to try anyway. They carry lots of lifeline fittings, turnbuckles, clevis pins, etc.
I wonder if anyone still makes bronze split pins? Ah, the King of Metals Haven't really looked, but they're pretty okay next to stainless, aren't they?
