Skipper,
I'm still not sure where the water is coming in. I do know that it is above the headliner with the water traveling to the shelves above the dinette and galley. I've tried spraying each of the fittings with a heavy stream of water from a hose but haven't been able to replicate the issue. Every time it rains hard, though, the inside gets a bit wet.
One possible place it could be coming in is through the dorade vents, although I think I've ruled that out now. They are poorly designed (although you can't tell without cutting part of the headliner away like I did). I have a semi decent drawing around someplace but can't find it; but I'll try some ascii art and see how it comes out...

Ok, that came out a little funny. In any case, the bottom horizontal line is the headliner. The xx's are a baffle, the 'o' is a drain. The top horizontal is the outer cabin. I hope the box and the vent are obvious, as well as the pipe into the interior. Well, a funny thing you might notice. Any water that makes it over the baffle, but not down the pipe into the interior ends up pouring onto the headliner. (did that explanation make sense?)
Dumb, dumb, dumb, and just about impossible to notice from the outside. Oh, well. I figured that if the wind is blowing a bit the rain may blow inside the dorade, over the baffle, and down onto the headliner and into the cabin. But I tried sealing up the box and I still get water into the interior. Damn.
So, I'm still looking. Ah, well.
