Figured out your ASCII drawing fine. It is just like mine. If you have sealed the dorads and STILL have a leak, I would rule out that. One suspect place on mine (I have the fixed keel) is the mast tabernacle. Mine has a hinged rig for ease of going under bridges leading into the Great Lakes and as slips are expensive in the Chicago area, my guess is that the previous owners steeped and un-steeped the mast when they sailed. Check the mast to post area. Mine has a gap between the plate and the cabin roof. Luckily mine doesn't leak there. I have had one of my dorads in place for the past several weeks and even in the windiest thunderstorms it doesn't leak so I am fairly confident that the leak is not there. Can you tell me where you see the evidence of the leak in your cabin? Water will run and given enough pressure will even run up hill. I would rather deal with electrical problems than water any day.
And you are sure that your portlights are sealed? Does it only happen in a windy heavy rain or will it happen in a drizzle? What about a heavy rain without wind?
