Hello Seafarers After a very successful summer of Sailing "CHICKADEE", we were also able to get her back onto her trailer this weekend. The "ramp" grade in a friend's back yard provided a bit much for my Ford Ranger,so a little tug from a big Dodge Ram Diesel saved the day! The only mechanical snag of the entire summer occured after her last sail of the year, last week, when the swing keel & its cable parted company.I was retracting the keel at the mooring, and snap!Maybe she wasn't too happy about heading to the trailer so soon? Cheers, Bill McNamara Ontario Canada.
