Though I don't have a Seafarer, I read this board periodically, as a Seafarer is one of those boats I wouldn't mind having someday. Besides what has been mentioned I would think having the ability to monitor the weather accurately would be extremely important with a "smaller" boat. But of course as mentioned the abilities of the captain and crew would be the most important. Tim
