Here's my boat as she sits in the shop - at last some clear pictures of the underbody. Note the "fin" keel and skeg-hung rudder. I'll post more pictures as the projects progress. (Getting the Tartan 27 in the shop was a little more difficult than the Seafarer, and a lot more than the Jet 14.)
One of the things I noticed, thanks to the photos Charlie was good enough to send, was that when they stretched Philip Rhodes' Meridian design, Bodie Rhodes and Jim McCurdy virtually eliminated the bridge deck, reducing it to a small pedestal mount for the compass. A bad mistake, IMO, that makes the stretch less safe offshore.
Still and all, a lovely boat, I think . . .
