hi everyone.thanks for your answers in sept.i work out of town so i'm not home much.went sailing sat.in some 15 knot winds.boat did really well.wife wanted to go faster and heel more.i was quite surprised.anyway, when we returned to the dock i noticed that the stays and shrouds were slightly loose(less tense) than when we left the dock.this happened in june also.i've adjusted the rig once this summer.i haven't noticed any deformation of the cabin-top step or the interior liner.does anyone have any ideas as to what i'm seeing? boat is 30 yrs.old, standard wire for a 26' and the winding is still tight.

Sounds to me as if you have a serious mast step problem -- Charlie Jones, Meridian 25 "Tehani" Magnolia Beach, Tex -- 11/15/07 7:19p.m.
