In Response To: Okay, here's some info I got (Bruce Woods, Slipper 17 "Nimby," Raleigh)

and now I hardly notice that i had done so. The only downside that i have seen is that you cannot just slide over to tend the engine, but have to lift yourself slightly to get onto the seat.

in my mind that is a minor inconvenience compared to having a big gas can in the middle of the cockpit floor.

the bit about buying your wife a new motor was part joke, but if you do not have to mix gas you can use remaining gas in vehicle or mower so that it is easier to keep gas fresh with 4 stroke.

Also I buy marina gas whenever i am by the Clearwater marina - i really do believe the specially formulated gas is better.

at any rate i hope your engine problems are gone.
