I have always admired Jeff Peltier's arch, so I decided to try and make one. It is built out of Schedule 40 SS Pipe. It has a very thick wall and is stronger than "dammit" as my welder described it. It is not polished but it looks fine after some work with wet or dry sandpaper. I now mount my backstay and solar panel there, plus it serves as the mast crutch. I have attached a hoist to allow me to easily mount or remove the motor from my dinghy. It will also serve as a man over board hoist.

I am also a multiple picture moron so if you would like more pics or details, please email me.
