Report: outside forum guidelines

The veterans on this forum have been taking care of all of us. No support from Hake over all these years. I would look at Tim's forum like a North Korea Goverment run news outlet. Sanitized.

I've been in contact by lawyers, insurance agents and potential customers who were looking into buying a new 26RK & 32RK from this forum. Asking what is going on with Tim not answering my simple question and being responsible to existing owners.

I will be posting some more serious customer protection concerns on next post. Once a week until Tim show us Hake Yachts has really changed. I will tell you the rest of the story.

We'll review Ted G comment on his insurance. Hake Yachts not contacting boat owners about there dangerous defects. More defects will be discussed. Consumer protection information you'll need to know.

You'll never see this kind of information on Tim's new forum.

It's this forum veterans that will take care of you. This is far more serious than I have revealed so far.

Hake Yachts did not follow the instructions on the DSS Dripless Shaft Seal vent hose.

Front page of directions - IMPORTANT!-BEFORE STARTING YOUR INSTALLATION CAREFULLY READ THE FOLLOWING WARNINGS AND INSTRUCTIONS.FAILURE TO PROPERLY FOLLOW THE WARNINGS AND INSTRUCTIONS COULD LEAD TO PERSONAL INJURY OR EVEN DEATH,OR PHYSICAL,ENVIRONMENTAL OR PROPERTY DAMAGE.

http://www.go2marine.com/docs/mfr/pyi/pss/pss-mi3.shtml

From the installation manual: Page 5. “Run hose to a point at least 2’ above the waterline.” Hake Yachts installed vent hose 14” above water line, attaching vent hose to the top of engine. Page 5.”Could start siphon action” Page 7. “Spray or mist during operation after the break in period.”

How many Seawards engines had this Dripless shaft vent hose installed on top of the engine?

Will you be contacting these owners?

Do you think it would be OK for salt water to directly spray onto engine and it's copper external oil line and electrical connections?
