It is nice to get this info with a click of a mouse. They can update it and we dont have to send money for a tape or CD.

Im glad to see that they are still improving the product. Like making the holding tank accessable and using the top grade of sanitation hose. Also using the pex water, plumbing system. Not having splices in the electrical wiring. To name a few.

Explaining how the cleets and stanchons are installed.

On the still needs improvment side. Ken has told us about the vent for the dripless shaft log. The bilge pump is another item that does need adresed. on my boat their is a small filter before the pump it will clog quickly with small debris and is very dificault to get at behind the port settee, so I insatalled a larger filter at an easy spot to check and empty if need be. I think the fuel tank needs straped down securely. It may stay inplace while the boat is on the water but on the highway it will bounc around.

Till all is said and done I still LOVE my Seaward 25. I like the interior lay out better than the 26 I don't like the keel trunk. I understand it is a better sailing craft. Since having the 25 I have turned into a crusier going to destinations.

So much for my rant, sailing time is geting close.

You are not alone. Nancy likes the 25 better as well. -- Bud -- 3/15/09 4:26p.m.
