Small Craft Advisor - the magazine for the small boat sailor

Here is my final post of the subject.

Report: outside forum guidelines

Previously Hake Yachts Inc. did not participate in any active way on this forum though Dave Brady did lurk here.

Now the new owner comes onto the forum, tells us how things are going to be better, wants us all to tell them how happy Seaward sailors are and invite us all to their new forum. I consider that part of their marketing plan.

To accuse a customer of having a personal vendetta because they have suffered economic loss due to incorrect installation of a product is the antithesis of good marketing. Disagree all you want but if it was your boat, would you just say "oh well" and forget it?

If Hake LLC wants to post here then they also get the negative as well as the positive. If they don't want the positive, I say stop posting here. Their choice. This forum doesn't belong to them.

I quote from the Rules and Etiquette section linked at the top of this forum.

No commercial messages. If you want to promote your business on The Trailer Sailor, buy some advertising space.[\b]
