times people who post on this board say it would be nice to have the factory play an active part of this board. I think we are all aware that we are dealing with a small group here, factory-wise, and not some corporation like General Motors.

I for one like the idea that the factory guys are here, and are taking an active part in things. It makes them more 'real' to me. More like I'm dealing with other sailors rather than corporate suits, even if that's what they are. I just like being able to see posts from the guys making our boats for a change.

I think it takes a certain amount of courage to be the manufacturer, ANY manufacturer, and post on a board that allows two way comments. It's fairly begging to get hit between the eyes because people with a gripe are A LOT more vocal than people who are satisfied customers.

I think instead of trying to equate what was to anything that has been said, it's better to just wait and see. I for one look for actions rather than words. It's easy to say what people want to hear, it's something else to deliver.

Let's give the new guys a chance to deliver.
