I replaced our halyards last Spring too

Just for the sake of mention,... I went the Ebay route last spring for halyards and got a pretty good deal, I think I paid around 55 - 65 bucks apiece which included shipping. It looks like shipping costs are about 5 dollars higher this year from what I just looked at. The halyards I got seemed of good quality but I can't really tell without comparing them with the name brands. My guess is that the the brands such as what Dave mentioned are probably a bit better.

I'll be shopping for a new furler line and jib sheets this year and am looking close at the New England brand as well, I agree with Dave, looks like good quality and reasonable cost. So far I'm leaning that direction.
