And where? Is it best to keep the first line on the dock, pick it up and attach somewhere to the boat(this is what I currently do) Or is it better to attach it somewhere on the boat and "snag" a dock cleat? Need to keep from going too far forward and crashing into the main dock; also need to keep from blowing off the starboard side finger slip and into neighbors boat. I have a right handed prop. Much of what I read on the topic says dock port side to, but my slip is starboard side to. When I had an outboard, I had few troubles - with the inboard diesel, I have lots of trouble. Any advice?
