After hauling out last fall, I did a power washing. There was a very hard brown encrustation on the lower pintle. I sail only in fresh water. I have thought about this for some time and I have yet to understand what this is. Maybe I should just find a way to get it off without losing the polished finish. Any ideas or suggestions?
