Hey Al, just went outside and looked at mine and it is just as you described. I agree it looks like just the shape of the keel. Good times in the Keys. I sailed mine down to the middle keys a couple years ago. It took almost three weeks to get there and 12 hrs. to trailer her home. Best of both worlds.
