that is exactly the type of info I was looking. I am really sold on diesels for all the reasons you described. before my C30 I owned a C25 with an outboard. here in the Panhandle, the sound and the bays can switch from wonderful to horrible in a manner of minutes. when a storm rolls in off the Gulf a bouncie outboard is no fun. I also like the idea of a fixed keel. I am in the less is more school when it comes to maintence and repair. I would gladly give up a little windward performance to keep from maintaining a centerboard. on the same vein of thought, although outboards are easier to maintain, diesel take less to maintain. IMHO. keep 'em cominng, I am leaning toward the S25! thanks again! Dan
