IMO best way to get one is though an owner rather than a broker - per my experience owners seem to tell all and more, especially if they really loved the thing. I have bought boats sight unseen and no survey because I knew from talking with owner that he was being straight. Anyway as it is a broker, I would get the survey once I decided I wanted the boat. I'd walk away if there was the least resistance from broker about the survey. If you are not handy doing the bulkhead reinforcement yourself or have a good boatyard you trust to to be quality and reasonable, you may want to forget it as this could cost you a bunch more in time and money than it sounds like you want to spend. Broker's ad says nothing about condition of the boat which I suppose may be more common in some areas but that has not been the case in my experiences locally here. Where are you located ?- 1200 is a bit of a ways to haul but there are people on this site I think that have done it with 25s and would have good advice. my .02 good luck. PS price may be a little high for that - check the blue book.
