but like Jerry says... it takes a helluva squeeze. My hands and wrists hurt for awhile after I did it and I was alot younger then. Plus something else to consider... Last Summer, a buddy of mine was using a standard gun for stainless rivets and the gun broke, he said when it did, a piece of it zinged right by his ear. Protective wear encouraged.
I found a heavy duty pop riveter at Menards for about 45 bucks. I need to re-rivet the frame on our Hobie and replace the mast rings on the Sea Pearl so it's worth it for me.
