Al, thanks for the below deck tank info and the old Tempo website. Unfortunately, Tempo no longer makes marine tank products; these were taken over by Moeller (moellermarine.com). I decided to call Moeller, and talked with their tech person about the possible installation of a return line into their 6.5 gallon tank (#031106). They do have available a return assembly that apparently goes in place of the existing fuel level guage. I asked that they ship one to me, so we'll see how it works out.
