What to look fro on a 24

Ok, a week or so ago, I was heading to see a 25, but that is not doable for me. So I am going to see two 24's this weekend, one with a bow sprit the other not, both with a wheel and outboard.
I am looking for some input form some 24 owners about what I might be looking for? I know the basics, but I am looking to know any particular quirks for the Seaward 24. One is an 88, the other an 87. Neither has a trailer though. One is in the water the other is on stands.
