We had a Catalina 22 at the time. Not having the funds for an update, and the fact that we had the C22 to sail, it was not until 10 years later that I happened upon an S25 for sale on the internet along the route we were taking for our summer driving vacation to upper MN. We stopped to look at the boat with the whole family and I did not have to sell the idea at all...the family told me I had to buy the boat! When we got back I ordered a survey, negotiated the price over the phone, and then secured insurance and a loan locally before heading off to pick it up. It was a long drive as I first picked up the trailer in MN and then the boat in WI (Lake Superior), and then trailed it home to SE MI. We then sold the C22 (it took about a week) and that is the way it goes.... Dan
