"Bonnie Alice") I pried the calk away, and the PLASTIC fitting fell out of the hole. I took the fitting in, and it was the perko type labeled in the store not for below waterline. Also, and this was the irritating part, I measured the hole: 1"; the fitting? half inch. Sheesh! caulk is good stuff, but not THAT good. I would have got new fitting with seacock, but WM had only part of what I needed, Overton's had none, and BW had only part, but different size than WM, and I wanted to SAIL. Eh, it was interesting.
