Last week another guy looking at S25 that I had been looking at emailed me some pics of the boat. guess what? they had made a compression post in what looked like the same type of stainless steel tubing you would use for a roll bar in a car. they had had it bent to follow the opening in the door to keep it out of the way. it looked like a simple and relative cheap fix compared to all that I have been reading about reinforcing a bulkhead. just a thought.
