In a short time, I am quickly becoming proficient at this technique. Thanks to all of you for your advice. I have kept the cost to a minimum, but getting a good result. (If anyone would like the details, I can publish the method. The first question lies in the efficiency of teak cleaning. I am using a 50/50 mix of TSP and Clorox to clean (with a touch of Wisk). It took alot of scrubbing to get a reasonably cosmetic finish. The original wood, once the old finish was removed, was weathered gray in some areas. Is there a more efficient or faster way (or product on the market) to achieve a good cleaning? Secondly, I am going to use a heat gun and sanding on board. How do I shield the surrounding fiberglass to reduce the chance of damage to these areas?
