In Response To: Reefing 101 (Jay H, Sea Pearl 21, Seaward 24, Yankton SD)

Maybe you can answer a simple question for me? Do you use a topping lift? I do not see one in the drawing or in the photos, and questioned how you keep the boom up. (I did not see a solid vang either) My boom looks to have the ability to run a lift internal to the mast, but it would be a pain with stepping and unstpping the mast all the time to have that line set up through the boom.

Any info is helpful. Thanks
