Need advise on boat purchase..

I have an oportunity to aquire a Blackwatch 18. I have long admired these boats, but have zero knowledge. This boat would be a major project. The wood needs refurbishment and the Mast & rigging needs to be replaced. Also interior cushions etc....sails are in good shape.... These are very rare and hard to find boats, so I want to make the right rational decision here. I am not afraid of the work, but the Mast has me scared. Has anyone out there replaced a Mast? I'm guessing it would be about the same size as an S23. I would appreciate a round number for what you may have paid in recent years. I would probably go with Dwyer. Shipping it to the Midwest would probably be pretty pricey. I need another boat like a Hole in the Head!
