Lazy Jacks

Each large shackle replaces the bolt that mounts the spreader to the mast. One on each side. The missing lazy jack line (Approx 1/4 to 3/8 dia) threads through the small swaged ends. Start by tying the line off at the U - bracket near the gooseneck on one side of the boom. Thread it up into one swaged end, back to the END of the boom U-bracket, under the boom then up to the other swaged end and down to the cleat on the boom near the gooseneck, on the side opposite the tied off line starting point. Wew! Sounds confusing! Sorry - best I could come up with.

Remove the line for use of the mast raising system. The components you show in the bag are used to attach the mast raising system to.
