Replacing the bolt with the large shackle?

Rob, Thanks for the reply. I am still not sure how the bolt for the spreader gets replaced with the large shackle on either side of the mast. Hopefully the light will finally go on but I want to be sure of what I am doing before lowering the mast. Also, since the kit is for a 26 I want to be sure it will work on the mast on our 94 S25. BTW, the kit from Hake did come with a length of 1/4" line. Thanks for any more help you can provide.
