My father was into inboard boats for fishing off the coast, but I was interested in sail boats, so I started sailing in high school with a sunfish. Fast forward 30 years. After high school I rarely sailed and during the last 25 years never got in a boat and never thought about a boat. Then one day, I was helping a friend look for an F-150 and we would pass long Jordan Lake in North Carolina on the way to the Ford dealer. I noticed a boat for sale and joked...I always wanted to sail a sloop. On the way back, he said "Hey, there's your boat again, let's stop!". I never heard of Seawards or Slippers, but I walked around the boat I knew it was the boat for me. Small enough to trailer yet it had the big boat feel even out of the water. Three days later, I made an offer and we towed the boat to my place using my friends new F-150. Shortly after, I got my self a used F-150
