Date: 6/12/09 6:06p.m. Report: outside forum guidelines In Response To: How did you buy or sell your Seaward? (Scott, Seaward 23) I saw the Seawards at the Annapolis sail boat show in 1995. I ordered a new one from the dealer that just happened to be just down the street from where I lived. I spent hours going over the option list... as short as it was. Bought a 1996 S-25. My boat was used for the '96 Annapolis show. I was quite proud of that... visiting it at the show and listening to comments. I sailed in up and down the Potomac River for 10 years and then sold it so I could buy my wife a vacation house at the shore. It was her turn for a toy. Two guys went together to buy it... the boat really sold itself. If I recall, they just saw the for sale sign I had hung on it while she floated in the wet slip. I think I was one of the first three to start the Seaward owner forum. I regret not having it, but then I am happy I don't have it. Physical injury maked it difficult to sail... so I cheated and bought a power boat to play with. But, I still enjoy sailing much more.
