Kent:

If salt has attacked the lug nuts have you checked the brakes? We have brackish water here and since I was only using the trailer to pull the boat to clean and paint the bottom or for hurricane safety I had the shoes sieze to the drums. If you are running the trailer over the road you likely are drying the drums enough to avoid this problem.

I launched from a Jacksonville Sailing Club when I was going up(down) the river. We were NYRU members and all clubs offer guest privleges. How far do you plan to go? We went all the way to Sanford and it was a delightful trip. Wish I could do it again but not likely. John M.(Ceilidh)
