I'll throw in my experience from Mead. We all launched from Callville Bay on the northwest side. There is parking available there. Fees depend on what time you arrive. I think it's $20. for the week. I got there late and the ranger station was closed. So no fee...yay. We spent each night on the water usually in a cove, but one night was at the dock at Temple Bar Marina, with a shower and restaurant. The temps last year were very comfortable, in the 80°/90°'s. Water was great. again around 80°. Any less than that and this desertsailor doesn't partake . Food is usually on board except for the Temple Bar stay. Dancing shoes are optional. If Mariner Chuck shows up he might have his TUTU and ballet shoes...but that's another story. Are you planning on bringing your boat (what is it?)? If not I know that both Bilgepump and I have room for crew. And there is plenty of room for vittle sharing. if you want to, give me a call. 623-341-3240 Lou
